(3,739 posts)that I could see some cows out in the fields. Then when we got home I stopped as I walked across the grass in our front yard and just started yelling "I can see the blades of grass". Everywhere was like Disneyland because the world had been blurry for so long. I thought everybody just saw things that way.

(6,251 posts)When we got outside, I told my mom that I could see the leaves on the trees. She started crying!
Moms are pretty special.

(3,739 posts)but the next day I overheard her getting emotional as she talked to our neighbor about how she felt when I got so excited about seeing things. She was happy I could see now but felt terrible that I hadn't been seeing well before. Thanks for sharing, Staph. Blessings to our moms.

It was bc when my mom was pushing me around in my stroller and strangers - men would come up to her to compliment her I'd go "daddy !" to each of them!
Surely, that wasn't right. My 💖 smart mom!
Happy Sigh for sweet Riley! 🥰
