This is for all the lonely people.

I recorded this exactly a year ago at Christmas time. Just a reminder that for some people the holidays are a difficult time.

(context.... I was playing/posting a song every night for a while during quarantine last year. I called it the Quarantine Tapes. When Christmas came I played this song. During the holidays I am always thinking about the people who are not with their families celebrating, and how the holidays are a difficult time for many. I know too well, for some, hearing music in every store saying how this is the "most wonderful time of year" can make your skin crawl. Rarely do you hear the people on TV mention this. So I sing it. Wishing everyone peace.)

The shoe fits, and t the exact moment I played this, I received a message from someone else in the same boat.

I am sending this to them.

I'm using a looper. I play the rhythm a couple times through and the looper records it. then i hit a button and it plays back what I just did, and then I play leads over it. so there are two of me playing together. so that would explain why it sounds like " a lot" of music thanks for listening

Wynton Marsalis has done something like that to play several trumpet parts on one recording.

Keep up the good work!
