I just found some eggs

I’ve been getting a few eggs every few days from my hens. They all molted in October and ceased egg production, taking their well earned rest.

One of them found a place outside of the laying boxes and I simply missed it.

7 eggs.

It’s been cold, so they’re fine. I just can’t believe I missed them, for at least a week. Oops

My hens molted late this year…they just started laying too. I only get 1-3 eggs a day with the 6 hens. I always have one outlayer…who doesn’t want to use a nesting box. Silly girls. 🐔

To 3, maybe 4. Should start getting better again with longer daylight.

We have young ducks that are starting to lay. They're all loose, so we have to try to find them before the dogs do. And you never know where you're going to find them!
