Especially Deep Space Nine. But I didn't like Enterprise's intro.

That music. That wave. That balcony zoom-in shot introducing Jack Lord. Too groovy for words.

It evolved along with the show each season... I found this that has all four of them strung together:

It also happens to be one of my all time favorite TV series... A shame it was cancelled before it's time.

I was going to post this one myself if someone hadn't done it already. There are a lot of great TV intros that I love, but MTM was definitely my all time favorite. Especially the original version. I understand why they changed the lyrics when the original ones didn't really fit anymore, but the original version affected me much more strongly, probably because of where I was in NY life all the time.

I will also nominate Cheers, just because the show had such a great theme song. And Friends for the same reason and because playing in the fountain!

Valerie Harper’s VO and the collage of pictures…really well done.

I also like the openings for “WKRP in Cincinnati” and a later season of “One Day at a Time.” Cincy and Indianapolis look nothing like that now.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/26/arts/television/game-of-thrones-opening-sequence.html

...It’s one of several title sequences in recent years designed to be a significant part of how you process and remember a program — in other words, something you don’t want to fast-forward through.

“They can do things that the show itself isn’t necessarily capable of doing,” said Angus Wall, a co-founder of the design studio Elastic and the leader of the team that created the “Game of Thrones” opener. “They can sort of give you a broader sense of the world in which the show takes place.”

Elastic is also the firm responsible for several of the most memorable opening sequences on TV, including Netflix’s “Daredevil,” “True Detective” on HBO and “The Man in the High Castle” on Amazon. In addition to “Game of Thrones,” Mr. Wall has created the openers for “The Leftovers,” “Deadwood” and “Carnivàle.”
