(4,544 posts)Who IS that actor/actress?
Where have I seen that actress/actor before?
What other films has this director made?
Has this show been renewed for another season? (If they list another season under "Episodes," you can count on it.)
How many years was xxx xx xxxx on the air?
Hubby says, "That actress looks like xxxxx xxxxx." I say, "No, it's not." (Ends arguments!)
Just about anything I'm curious about in the world of entertainment is there. It's one if the most used apps on my phone!

(14,853 posts)None of which I finished watching.
Gigli
Rollerball (Saw it listed on the TV's guide, assuming it was the original with James Caan)
The Master of Disguise (Which single-handedly made me question my belief that Dana Carvey was a decent comedian)
EDIT:
Nope, I saw five of them partially. Forgot about Teen Wolf Too and The Fog. I finished watching the original "The Fog" long ago, not that it was particularly good either.

(27,120 posts)Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is actually a quality movie! It really doesn't deserve to be on this list!
I've also seen the Room.

Regretted most of them. Catwoman wasn't particularly good but hey Halle Berry was in it.
Most of the rest I am unfamiliar with. Barbwire, I remember seeing ads in London when I was on vacation there. Haven't seen it though.
I also vaguely remember reading that those centipede movies were creepy and disturbing.

(15,382 posts)This is Joel's baby as it's the official MST3K touring show. I think they did a couple of years with Jonah, the host from the Netflix episodes (I went to one) where Kinga and TV's Son of TV's Frank's bits and the actual riffing of the movie were pre-recorded, but Jonah and the bots would do skits live on stage (Joel was also there to introduce the show). This one has a female, Emily Marsh, as the subject of the experiment being performed by Mega Synthia, who is a clone of Pearl Forrester AND Pearl Forrester's clone, Synthia. They did skits like Jonah, but they also were stage right riffing the movie live which was on a screen in the center of the stage.

(41,963 posts)Boy, they got me through many a Thanksgiving back in the day. So cool youve been able to see them. I didnt know Joel was continuing. Tbh I never got attached to Mike. He tried, but I loved the originals.

(15,382 posts)After MST3K, Mike, Bill (Crow/Brain Guy), and Kevin (Servo/Professor Bobo) did a short-lived show called, "The Film Crew" then moved onto RiffTrax, and they'll have Brigitte (Mike's wife) and Mary Jo do guest shots. Haven't gotten to see them in person.
Joel, Trace (Crow/Dr. Forrester), Josh (Larry - Dr. Forrester's first assistant/original Servo), Mary Jo (Pearl Forrester), and TV Frank's did Cinematic Titanic, and they did live shows (saw them live and I twisted large balloon sculptures of Crow and Tom - Joel was impressed).
Joel then brought back - with what was at the time - the most successful Kickstarter to get MST3K on Netflix. Jonah was the guy in the jumpsuit and Kinga Forrester played by Felicia Day (gave her sculptures of Crow and Servo as well) and TV's Son of TV's Frank played by Patton Oswalt were the new Mads, and there were new voices for the Bots. Joel was the member of the indistinguishable member of the Skeleton Crew that sent them the movies.
Netflix didn't re-up after two seasons, and part of the agreement was that Joel had to wait a couple of years to find a new home, but they've been doing the live shows that I talked about and a new Kickstarter (I think) to hopefully do something once COVID restrictions allow it.
They also a super-mega-reunion event with just about everyone that they streamed so that was great as well.
I'm kind of obsessed.

(52,227 posts)Might have been rotten tomatoes, but at the point we saw it, it was literally the worst rated movie.
She generally isn't interested in movies, here adhd doesn't really let her enjoy them. I think she thought this might become a cult classic so she wanted to be able to say she saw it when it first came out I guess.
Of course I did the parent at kid movie thing and hid in the back and paid more attention to my phone than the movie..
I cannot believe Super Mario Brothers is not in that list. I had to sit through that twice with my kids. OMG, kill me already.

I went through the list twice to be sure. I've heard of most of those movies; but I'm sure I've never watched 99 of them.

(9,955 posts)... usually, I hear films are bad and don't watch them. I saw The Fog but don't remember what it was like. I never saw Heaven's Gate and heard it was the worst.
Plan 9 from Outer Space - funny to watch with friends.
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians - very silly, but funny
The Beast from Yucca Flatts - really bad and not as funny as I hoped
The movie with Rosie Grier having Two Heads - got tiresome
Hot Rods to Hell - maybe not considered the worst, but my favorite "bad movie"
The last Superman movie with Christopher Reeve - big letdown
Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp - another big letdown
The Ballad of the Green Berets- John Wayne gets way too political
Reefer Madness - really funny
The Village of the Giants - not sure that's the title - had Ronny Howard and it's fun

(16,396 posts)Batman & Robin
Cats
The first one I saw without reading any reviews beforehand and didn't know it was going to be terrible.
Verdict: Meh.
In the case of Cats, I had read lots of reviews and wanted to see if it was really as bad as everyone said.
Verdict: I never would have believed that a movie with both Dame Judi Dench and Sir Ian McKellen in it could suck THAT much if I hadn't seen it for myself.
P.S. I'm surprised Howard the Duck wasn't on the list. Definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

TBH, some of the budget movies from the 50's and 60's ought to be on that list too.

But I had to join my girls watching this treasure.
