OP
I have a thing about historical accuracy so I really wasn't prepared to like this film. But I did.

(16,903 posts)1. I watched from beginning to end.
The narrator got on my nerves, though.

I have avoided watching this film because I just don't like war movies. I hate that they depict the very worst of what makes us human. Should I watch this one? Or will I be disgusted by what I see?

(16,903 posts)4. It was the speed of his narrative.. I could barely keep up, lol
I felt as if he had a lot to stay in a short period of time...

It just drew me in.

(13,904 posts)5. Waltz does a great performance in this movie. One minute charming and the next terrifying.
I saw him on the Graham Norton "chat show" and I don't know if it was a Brit/German thing. Maybe he did not like Norton and he came across more like Landa than a chatty guest. Many times he was flat out rude and was being put off by answering questions.. Very aloof.
He was also excellent in one of Tarantino's other films, Django Unchained...YMMV

...turned into "Carrie" during the climax.
