I gor a couple of spam calls from area coxe 862. Just out of...

curiosity, I found out that is the code for Newark and parts northwest in NJ.

I also found a place that will happily sell you an 862 number for 20 bucks a month. Of such things untraceable scams are born.

My cellphone has been pretty good lately at sniffing out the scams. Hope it gets better at it.

I use the free version but they do have it in an enhanced pay version.

It is excellent at blocking spam calls.

If I don’t recognize the number, I figure they’ll leave a message. I’ve heard that some area codes charge for answering. I once sent a text to a friend n she was in the Bahamas.. a costly text.
