So, was just going through some of my old albums and spinning some tunes. It's amazing how this old stuff still blows away the music of today.
Thankful for the music I grew up with.
Jethro Tull - Stand Up
The Who - Quadrophenia
Pink Floyd - Meddle
Yes - Close to them Edge
Led Zeppelin I
Utopia - Road to Utopia
are just a few I'll be dusting off today.

(21,110 posts)I would put Fragile over CTTE even though both are great. You have to put a CSNY album in there....maybe 4 Way Street.

(15,364 posts)Unfortunately, I don't have 4 Way Street, just Déjà Vu
Love Fragile, but I remember when it came out it made me go black and find other stuff from Yes. The Yes Album blew me away.

(21,110 posts)The FIRST album I ever purchased was CTTE. I was in awe of a 18 minute song.

(15,364 posts)Funny how Hotel California was written shortly after The Eagles backed Tull on tour when "We Used to Know" was on the setlist.

(24,334 posts)I ever bought, going back to the early 60s. I have over three hundred of them. I have taken very good care of them and still listen to them sometimes. My only regret was that I didn't take very good care of the covers and never put them in plastic sleeves. In some cases, the covers can be worth more than the vinyl itself.
