I am 73 and, for whatever reason, just recalled the verse in a long-ago birthday card:

( on front ) "The years have been kind to you!"

( inside ) "But, some of those weekends KICKED. YOUR. ASS!!!"

See what I have to put up with?

On her 50th birthday, I gave her a card with this:

Outside:
Mary had a little bird,
she kept it in a cage.
She shot it on her birthday......

Inside:
'Cause it KEPT REPEATING HER AGE!

I drew a little bird on its back, gasping "Fifty.....fifty.....(AWK)....fifty...."

She never forgave me, I don't think.
