appliances, and electronics, but pretty much everything else. I have a question....is a pizza cooker an appliance?? Its the type ya put the pizza on its pan and it rotates under a heating part to cook, its not called an oven. And how about an older type radio that plays cassette tapes. Is that considered an electronic?? Thanks.

(16,993 posts)and a separate one for appliances. I took 2 things to the appliance clean-up. While I was waiting in my car, I watched the volunteers using a forklift to move larger items. They picked up a flat screen tv, and it fell off, and shattered into a million little pieces. It was something to see, I'll tell ya.
I bet if you put the old radio on the curb, someone would take it. There's a lot of interest in the older electronic equipment
