(36,745 posts)The slightly younger cat. I have perplexed him though. I have a CPAP so I can hide completely under the blankets.

(34,112 posts)isn't it just so sweet? He will do it if I am sitting here doing what I am doing now. Even if I reach over and pet him now and then that soft hand on my arm or stomach or cheek. He is the sweetest boy ever.

(15,388 posts)Had run of the house. I only put her in her cage when I needed her out of the way or needed to keep her safe. Her dish was in her cage though, and I kept her kibble in a Gatorade bottle on top of it. She climbed the cage one morning because her dish was empty and knocked the bottle to the floor then rolled it around trying to get into it. That woke me up so I fed her and went back to bed.
The next morning she did it again, but her dish was full. She just wanted me out of bed to play and had figured out how to get me up.

(34,112 posts)Irritating I am certain but so adorable. The way it looks at her then does it again. Awwwww.

(1,818 posts)I used to have a dog who was very particular about water in her water dish. If it was empty she would pick it up and knock me over the head with it until she got water. If I was sitting or lying down it came she belted me upside the head with the empty dish. If I was standing, it was banged against my knee. Food dish - no issue, but let the water dish get empty, and I felt it. Needless to say I was very attentive to the level of her water dish.
