When was Metal really in it's "glory days?"
For me, it was the days of "Hair Metal."
The 80's.

I haven't thought of that show in years! 
I never watched Headbanger's Ball that much, but I remember on Saturday mornings MTV used to play music videos of Aerosmith, Helix, Motley Crue, Skid Row, and White Lion, and Whitesnake just to name a few.
