Looks like the comedy is thrown out the window.
Going to be a drama. (I think)

(6,544 posts)It will be a sitcom, the video that has been going around shows Frazier turning into a mob boss. Everyone in it is far too young, it took clips from earlier shows and stitched them in. Its quite clever, and, I suppose was inspired by the rumors in this article.

(4,266 posts)They'd really have to get the core of the old cast back for it to be a success, though, I think.

(2,252 posts)of the show even though I couldn't stand Cheers, except for Shelley Long. I was never happy with the way the show ended but maybe a one shot special would be a better idea. I wasn't aware that KG was a rightie. If that is true I would rather see another actor portray Frazier because I could care less if all Republicans dropped off the face of the earth.

(205,467 posts)My mother was David's Sunday school teacher, so she was a big fan of the show. She also volunteered at the local hospital and ran into David when he came to visit his own Mom when she was hospitalized. Unfortunately, his Mom died and Kelsey Grammar is listed on the wall of donors in the hospital lobby. So they were not only friends, but obviously remained in touch.
