Have you figured it out yet? It's kinda hard to explain. Love means zero, that's the best I can tell you without trying to explain the whole game.

2. Essentially whomever created tennis point system couldn't count worth a damn

Love - 0
15 - 1 point
30 - 2 points
40 - 3 points
Game - 4 points and you won that match

You play a set until someone gets 6 points but you have to win by 2, which means if it's tied at 5-5 you have to play until 7-5 or 8-6 or 9-7 - meaning you could have a set that goes until 100-98 until one person won more than 2
