Weird question....Does anyone

know how I might go about finding a reputable private detective here in Southern California?

In all seriousness, it's not for me but for a friend of mine who lives in TX and needs some help regarding a family member here in the Los Angeles area.

licensed and insured. Personally, I’d go with an agency rather than an individual.

Thanks for the suggestion about an agency. .

I know I could google it but I'm putting it out there to my DU pals wondering if anyone can make a recommendation?
