Car show across the street from me... (Very picture heavy)

On Mondays a restaurant across the street from my place has a sort of car show, and those who bring in old cars get $5 off their dinner.

These are today's cars.

2. Car no. 14 down, the green two-door Ford

would that by any chance be a rare '64 Falcon Sprint with the 289 v-8? Even though I prefer European cars from the '60s, I've always been partial to that model, even more than the Mustang.

5. That's what I thought. The 289 was awesome. I've got a 390 in my '68 Galaxie fastback.

Those where some kick-ass cars.

7. Most of the 64 Falcons still had the 260 v-8. 289 wasn't offered in the Falcon until late 64.

So most of the 64 Falcon Sprints as well as all of the 63 1/2 Sprints had the smaller 260 v-8. Even some of the 64 Mustangs, Fairlanes, and Mercury Comets had the 260 v-8 engine.
