Seriously, I have some glacial deposits in my back yard that I think are a mix of crumbled sandstone, various other small rocks, sand, and fine clay/loess type soil (I'm not sure it's truly loess) that looks remarkably like that.

Boy, I bet I could make a lot of money scamming stupid people on Ebay.

but I noticed the shadow in the picture and was wondering if Mars has sunrises and sunsets the same way Earth does. Anyone know?
