If you want your SO to pay more attention to you, try poisoning them.

It's not clearly spelled out in the article, but my guess is that her method did not achieve the results she desired.

Where they say, in a village in Italy, there are women who poison their husbands in the morning, so that they start feeling worse throughout the day, so they have to come home as soon as possible to get their antidote.
