Vacation Movie-A-Thon...

So far we've watched Thor, Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Today we're watching The Incredible Hulk (with Edward Norton) and Iron Man. Still got Iron Man 2 in the queue.

1. Oh, man...

I thought this was going to be a thread about you watching all of the Vacation movies in a row. However, the only two ones that are really great are Vacation and Christmas Vacation. European Vacation was ok, but not close to those two. They did make another one, but I'm pretty sure that when I saw part of it on daytime cable, that was somehow the first time human eyes had actually seen those images, because I have no memory of it being promoted, and I also assume the entire cast and crew felt the same way about it.

2. The movie watching continues...

We watched Batman with Christian Bale and will be watching the 2nd one when Paul gets home with dinner. Tomorrow morning we'll be watching the Star Trek reboot.

3. I catch up on the movies over the summer.

This summer I watched: The Iron Lady, We Bought a Zoo, E/W, The Decendents, Silent Movie, and probably a couple more that I don't remember.

I just watched Girl with a Pearl Earring on HBO. I have Hemingway and Gelhorn in the recorder. I'm just getting caught up again since the Olympics are over.

Plus... we have free Cinemax this weekend, so I'll probably tape a few more.
