The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsAs you may know, I'm not exactly "smart". Hence, this question.
When reading the responses in a long thread, I'm pretty sire there is a way that flags the most recent responses created? Instead of trying to figure out which were the latest responses posted by going through the post numbers?
I can't figure out how to do it.
Can you help me out?
If you can answer this, I'll give you this little rubber round thing that I found in my yard. It looks like a little rubber donut, and it's all cracked and brittle. I have no idea what it is or what piece of equipment it fell off of.
Thank you in advance, which means I'm not going to say thank you again if someone posts the right answer.

(17,460 posts)it's a 2 inch round donut shape with a hole in the middle, but it's about 3/4 inch thick.
I'd post a picture of it, but I threw it out yesterday because I was getting sick of looking at it.
In other words, I lied. There is no prize for the right answer.
This thing I'm thinking of...I think it turns the unviewed responses a different color...or something.

(47,453 posts)The time is listed next to the response so I can easily tell the first response and the last.
LuckyCharms
(17,460 posts)you see the thread got kicked up to the top, but someone responded in the middle of those hundred responses, so you have to look at the post numbers to figure out which was the latest response.
If someone responds to a RESPONSE that is in the middle of the thread, it takes awhile to find.
Irish_Dem
(47,453 posts)But I hear you.
Are you trying to go back and see if there have been additional comments since you last looked at the thread?
Or do you always want to only see the latest comments first?
LuckyCharms
(17,460 posts)In other words, trying to see the latest comment, which instead of being the last chronological comment to the OP, and therefore, at the end of the thread, it is instead a response to a response somewhere in the middle of the thread.

(47,453 posts)They are different colors.
I don't know however which unread responses are the latest.
Just that I have not read them yet. I would have to look at the time stamp.
I know some forums let you just see the latest posts.
But that can be confusing in a thread with many posts.

(17,460 posts)it's not actually highlighting the 10 newest replies. Maybe an issue specific to my computer? I'm going to see what it does on my mobile.
