(21,466 posts)and paces around howling when I'm in the shower. I leave the door open, but she will not enter the bathroom while the shower is on.
I have learned that if I talk to her first, pointing to the shower and saying, "It's OK," she does not get so agitated.

(6,531 posts)probably the love of my life, who used to do that at my bedroom door. I finally had to install a tiny dog door just for him. Solved the problem. Cat passed away years ago, but I still have the little cat door to remind me how good I had it. Nowadays, they make little cat shaped kitty doors that you can install. I would install one in a heart beat.
I am between cats right now, and I am thinking about installing a cat highway. Cats are so much fun!

(23,102 posts)So now I just leave the door open because our tuxie cat can't stand for me to be in the bathroom and her not there. She rattles the door and meows non-stop if it's closed firmly. She love to come and sits by the toilet, right in front of me, and meows and rubs her head on my ankles. She's a real girl, after she rubs my ankles and gets ear skritches, she rolls all over my shoes, rubbing her head on them. She LOVES my shoes, but not my husbands, don't know why?
