If so, how have you been doing on them after almost 1 month into the year?
My resolution was basic: to keep up my health throughout the year. So far no problems.

(3,416 posts)In Portland, the Wildwood Trail winds over 30 miles through Forest Park. In my 70 years living in the city, I have always talked of walking the length of this urban treasure (in bite-sized chunks). Yesterday, I gathered my wife and friends to begin the project. We walked the first five miles...only 25 miles to go...all of it wild, wooded, and inside the city limit boundary.

(261 posts)I made up my mind to cut down on alcohol intake (I was drinking too much) and reduce carbs. I was too heavy.
So far, I'm down 11 pounds.
I've known for months I needed to do both. I just needed to make the decision to do so.
I will say this...I feel remarkably better!

(261 posts)Don't know. I shared it here only to be an encouragement.
Once I learned the calories I was consuming on alcohol, I was especially motivated!

(14,906 posts)over this whole year is to draw a lot more with pen, and brush, and or thin line markers. I've done almost nothing but digital drawing on a cellphone art app the past 2 1/2 years.
To do 2 acrylic paintings around 18" x 24" inches as realistically as I can. I plan on doing those slowly.
And get fully back to my Tai Chi practice.
👍👍👍 🙂
