Big fat doses of misogyny from Amazon for valentines day?

Last edited Thu Feb 9, 2023, 10:58 PM - Edit history (1)

I did the basic Valentines gifts for her-it was self generated not anything I typed . I went incognito to see if it changed the results - Not much.

You get the normal stuff but a LOT of mugs & candles with very misogynist messages. Trigger warning.

A scented candle saying-" I'd punch a bitch for you-right in the throat"

Then there's this adorable coffee mug- "I love f*cking you means I f*cking love you"

Is this what people want?.

I'll stick with a nice box of chocolates thanks....

Speaking of thanks!-I have been hearted & I thank the kind donors...

One of my favorite teacher gags just to stir up the kids and get them into it used to be... they almost always say about this time of year: "Mr ___ what are you getting your wife for valentines?" And I would say "a new vaccuum cleaner!" That sparked inevitably a great feminist debate in every class

Better not forget Valentines Day..and some of the People feel the pressure to show a one day affectionate gift or else? It would be so much more fun w/out all the diamond stores n flowers n candy n crap. A simple hug n I love you or I appreciate you should mean more than having to bend to Madison Avenue..imo

worry intensely about "Does he/she love me?"

A day for expressing infatuation with someone.

But a day for love? Not so much.
