1. Love those harbingers of spring.

If you only got one goldfinch a year it would be an incredible sight. Because they are so numerous sometimes taken for granted.

3. I saw a hint of color change on on of "our" finches yesterday.

We live in northern Illinois, and it’s been snowing intermittently for 3 days.

5. I know, snowing off and on here for 3 - 4 days as well, Southeast MN

But it’s just so hopeful seeing the bright yellow plumage starting to show.

7. Well.....they are kinda gray during the winter months here......so when their wings start

turning that sunshine yellow we know and love.......I know Spring is soooooo close.
