American Airlines sucks

I don’t know why I bother flying at all

10 hour flight delay in STL, and at 2 am they finally delay the flight until 9am. At this point, I will sleep in the airport but I am watching a young mother try to find a hotel at 2am for her and her two young children. American is not helping her at all. I am trying to find a hotel with an airport shuttle she can use

They are on the way to the embassy suites. I wish I was more help. Now I. An he a grumpy old man sleeping at e airport. Hopefully boarding starts in about4 hours.

There’s nothing like home and being in one’s own bed.

I have a suggestion that might help. Go to YouTube and search guided deep breathing exercise. It will take away a lot of the stress.

Wife and I were barred from getting on our flight to Iceland for our honeymoon in 2021 because the agents single handedly decided for themselves that Iceland didn’t allow people to travel. 12 hours, a rescheduled flight -and a lost day of our trip later (along with these peoples’ shift ends), we finally made it on a plane. But not without an enormous amount of stress first.

I hope you made it home OK and that you will update us when you are able.

I was concerned when I saw a news story about an American flight today.

I asked my spouse (who is in the two million mile club of United) about who the worst airline was and he didn't hesitate one second when he said "American."

A mere twenty and one half hours after I arrived at the airport in STL. What a shit show. Looking forward to a good night sleep in my own bed tonight.

Did they or are they going to do anything for you to compensate for this outrageous customer “service?”

If it happened to me they would get a letter with some demands. Partial refund, credit, something.

American did the exact same thing to me some years ago in La Guardia. Delayed the flight for hours then cancelled it right after midnight.
