They're funny with cats because cats have such "Meh, BFD" attitudes/expressions but
MUCH funnier with dogs as they are almost always completely incapable of hiding their
guilt.

3. You have never seen a dachshund

with a more pathetic, ashamed look than our first family dog. Before we finally learned he suffered deep anxiety from separations, we would arrive back home to find our bedroom covered in feathers. It was like a giant snowfall with our dachshund sitting in the midst of it with an oh so moarnful look. That's when he would look at us at all. As exasperated as we were to see this whiteout, my wife and I both couldn't help but laugh and stand in awe. Every pillow completely unstuffed and shaken to the four corners of the room.
