If youre a meat eater, should you be able to barbecue no matter how sickening it is for your vegan neighbours?
A debate broke out in Perth, Australias northern suburb of Burns Beach, reported news.com.au, after a vegan family asked another neighbour via a letter to close their window when cooking meat, according to PerthNow.
The letter, which began with Hello neighbour, could you please shut your side window when cooking? was contained inside an envelope with PLEASE TAKE SERIOUSLY written on the front.
My family are vegan we eat only plant-based foods and the smell of the meat you cook makes us feel sick and upset, wrote the neighbour.

(47,245 posts)There are videos at Youtube of vegans actually physically attacking meat eaters and leather wearers.
Including a guy at a fast-food place eating a chicken sandwich who is screamed at and attacked by a militant vegan who is obviously off her rocker.

I really don't care what my vegan neighbors think.

(62,159 posts)And what makes them assume everything they cook smells good to their neighbors?
I've never met a vegan who insisted that no meat could be eaten or cooked in their presence. Or a meat-eater who wouldn't try to accomodate vegan guests with vegan dishes, even if other guests were eating meat.

(62,159 posts)her teens, even though her parents consider rare steak a basic food group of its own. She didn't choose her plant-based foods very carefully, either, and her health suffered a bit as a result (going out to eat with friends who wanted pizza, and eating only bread sometimes, wasn't smart). She's now added dairy and lots of fish and seafood to her diet, though she still avoids meat.
