friends had a place with no electric - took my cordless drill and whisk to make whipped cream for strawberry shortcake. (yeah, I know it comes in an aerosol can too, but I just don't roll that way)

To make quesadillas in the dorm, the car dash to cook/heat on road trips, used the car as a dehydrator. I am always trying to find alternative uses.
