Ugh, and if I can get thru just one more furnace day........I will be happy as a clam.

High of 90, humidity 68, dew point 64. 🥵 🥵 🥵. Supposed to get rain later today and mostly tomorrow, then a cooling down period into the 80’s for the next week or so.

Usually it hits the 80's in the am around the end of May at the latest. This year it's near the end of June and the high at 7:10am (the start time for our am walk) has only been 75. It's only hit 90 once, where usually by now we've had weeks of 90 degree weather. I'm not complaining, this is nice compared to normal, but it is odd. It's also been a LOT more rainy, which is definitely helping keep the heat down. When it's not raining, and the breeze dies down, it's miserable with the 90% humidity and so many mosquitos.

I smoke pot but can't stand the smell in the house, so have to go outside. I spend every evening scratching from all the flying, biting insects. Even using a fan doesn't help. I smoke much faster this time of year to get inside and away from the mean bugs. Too bad vapes kill my dreams, those are good for inside. But this year I'm prioritizing feeling good and getting GOOD quality sleep, so bugs it is.
I'm even thinking about looking for a good insect repellant, but those usually feel awful, so oily on my skin.
