I've had a GREAT Week! I haven't watched one Second of the Right Wing Circle Jerk...

4 years ago, 8 years ago, 12 years ago...I watched the Republican conventions. I think it took about 5 years off of my life. This year I decided I'm not watching it. I haven't seen one second of the convention or cable news.

I watched Hurricane Isaac stuff for Florida earlier in the week and the rest has been Food Network shows and other mindless stuff. And now tomorrow is Friday and the Hate Fest will be over. Yay! Happy weekend everyone.

I live in Palm Beach County and we had 20 inches of rain. Where I live it drains very well but other areas not so much.

We were high and dry but 1/2 mile away had 3 feet of flash flood waters.

Ive seen some of the lowlights on news shows for a few seconds at a time, but I've spared my nervous system the main horror show. I've spent quite a lot of time this week Photoshopping for EarlG's RNC stage thread, though.

School started here. Between returning to work and dealing with parents and kid, I haven't the time for nonsense. I get the lowlights written observations on computer.

I am planning my Labor Day ( my BD generally falls on that weekend) so I am having a great week.
