(29,463 posts)Its a long story that ends up with me taking a drunken piss in the Squadron Commanders office in the middle of the night, just before my enlistment was up.

(27,593 posts)It couldn't be removed without removing one of the shelves, which took three days. They were weeks getting the smell out of the place, especially the carpet.
My bad........

(36,631 posts)It's not my fault! What were they thinking, sending a bunch of high school teens to such a place?!? (Wonder if they ever got the Seagram's 7 out of the carpet).
I know they're still out there, looking for me. They have their own covert security forces, y'know.

(25,355 posts)None of them were rare or valuable, just had older dates from when he had a paper route as a child.
He was abusive and controlled every penny, so I sneaked the change from the glass jar where he kept his "old" coins in order to buy milk, soup, etc.
After I left him, I sold my engagement and wedding rings, despite his order to keep them forever. They helped to pay my divorce lawyer.

(75,876 posts)From a Walmart about 20 years ago. I missed it taking stuff out of the cart when checking out.
Got all the way to the car & found it under the big bag of dog food.
I was too lazy to walk all the way back in to return it.

(10,473 posts)1st or 2nd grade my friend had a pin that was in the shape of a bird. It had little green rhinestone eyes. The bird's head was white and it had a little nick in the paint. To me that meant that the bird wasn't getting good care, so I stole the pin so it could come live with someone who loved and would care for it. I think I still have it in a drawer somewhere, I'm 65.
PS - No, I'm not psychotic. I knew it wasn't a real bird.

(37,324 posts)Looking back on it, their shouldn't be pencils in the lab, so perhaps it was a justifiable crime.
The pencils showed up in my home, eventually there was quite a number of them around my apartment, all with nice green stickers on them that said "balance."
One day I came into the lab early, and balanced all the balance pencils on the clamps in my boss's hood. Eventually, though not immediately, he was amused.

(14,225 posts)was an accessory to breaking and entering the administration building, where we toured the bell tower and returned to the dorm with some stylish traffic signs. It goes without saying that this was before there were cameras everywhere.
