For the first time since May my AC is off.

60° this morning and under 50% humidity. Forecast is a high of 90-a great change from 100+.

1. hey hobbit, that is a good feel, i hear ya. i was able to turn air off for a couple

days in august. and i have gotten to turn off in morning when i wake up and not turn on until late afternoon for more days. it is working on the third day of no air.

i much prefer windows open.

not to mention $

this summer was NOTHING like last year. our yard hadnt come all the way back from last year and july rough, but august we had enough rain, it is green and much more healthy.

almost done with this summer.

We had to close windows this morning- 61degrees in the house and super frisky kitties. It feels like fall this morning.

3. I had mine off last week

Of course I didn't have a choice. The starter capacitor on the compressor went bad.

5. 50s this morning and low 80s today in North Georgia.

I was able to finally turn my air off. It is supposed to be in the 50s again tomorrow morning and low 80s in the afternoon.

but I haven't used my portable evaporative cooler the last week or so; it's been nice. Cool mornings, warm days, nice evenings, cool nights.

I know it is a fluke but I had to put on long pants and a sweater two nights in a row now!
