Would you loan someone you don't know your car to take a driving test?

An individual posted a request on Nextdoor Neighbor for someone to let them us an automobile for an upcoming driving test. According to the post the individual can’t use their car because one of the air bag lights is illuminated.

This person is desperate to take the test as they no longer want to risk driving without a license.

and ride in the back seat during the test…with the promise/vow that if i spoke even a single syllable would be grounds for a test failure.

i love helping people.

i hate being scammed.

I got my post hidden for calling one busybody ‘Gladys Kravitz’, after the neighbor in Bewitched. No sense of humor.

It’s against my prime directive to engage on sites like that, but I have a little devil sitting on one shoulder, and he’s a cheeky little monkey.

A guy (late 20s, bearded, macho, big enough) was expressing his “discomfort” about some homeless guy hanging outside the CVS and how “something/somebody” needed to do something!!! It just isn’t right letting this guy hang around like that!!!

I “knew” this homeless guy…scrawny, mid forties maybe, just wanting some beer/cigarette money (probably).

After a few jibes back and forth with the poster, i said. “Man , maybe if you’re so scared by this guy you should spend more time at the gym and less time on ND. Just sayin’ bro.”

i feel like i lost a dear friend that night…he never replied.

But, I’d tell him to stick some black electricians tape over the air bag light until the driving test is over.
