It was gross and interesting at the same time. She kept her clippings because she said it was part of the soul/energy of her body. We packed it and moved to her new senior community.

So many people did that! They even had special jars that said “ Finger Nail Clippings” .

It could be argued that hair and nails are not part of the living body. They can be detached with no ill effect on the body.
