...dancing around, if you will, inside a cloud. This was late at night in San Antonioi TX in 1976-77. I was looking out the bedroom window of my apartment at a huge cumulous-type cloud that was fairly oval - wider than it was tall.
The lightning skittered around inside the cloud, lighting up the edges of it in a spectacular and fascinating way. It lasted for several minutes, and was completely captivating. I've never seen anything like it since.
