Happy to report, our momma dove in the robins nest has a tiny little baby.....

not sure how many, one for sure saw it’s tiny little head poking out from under momma’s body this afternoon.

1. I would have a batch of doves in my covered

back porch every year at my last house. I would put peanut butter on a cutting board in the area and the babies were raised on that. It was a blast!

2. It's hysterical watching momma in the robins nest........she hangs out on both sides.

3. The two baby doves have both flown the nest......both gone....

That didn’t take long. And momma dove should be back on the nest I’ll say in a week, she’ll be back doing her momma thing. One summer the momma had 5 batches!!!! 5 batches.

4. I commented in a different thread that the male mourning doves who...

...frequent our backyard and patio are horny little buggers. They pursue the females relentlessly, so 5 "litters" doesn't surprise me.

5. Forget a week the pair of doves are back today!!!!!!

Now that is fast.
