but unfortunately, that's no uncommon for our area.... office has power and heat, so that's where I am.

No damage, other than a wet basement (not flooded - just very damp).

Did your daughter come through OK?

Several trees are hanging on the power lines so she's not sure when it will be restored but she's fine and all of the horses (40) she's responsible for are also okay. A few of the barn's stall doors ripped off in the wind but they all had stall guards across the front as an extra precaution so the horses were all still standing inside this morning.

So nobody hurt and minimal damage. A good end to a hurricane in my view. How are you??
