I've often called them reactionaries, not "conservatives." I used to call them wingie-dingies, which isn't quite as saccharin as it sounds. Wingie-Dingie is a contraction of "wing-nut" and "ding-bat."

"Tories" (when talking of the British and Canadian varieties); if I append any term of abuse to those appelations, it's likely to be "c*nts". Or "tw*ts". (NB that I am in the UK and on this side of the pond both of those terms are more frequently used to insult men than women.)
