Disc Golf...

Just LEARNED about it today from a friend who plays it.

1. Oh yeah!

In Joplin Mo we had a course in one of the parks. The guys in the dorms back in MSSU made a make shift course to. I tried it, but stunk.

3. When I was in high school,

I made several trips up to MSSU (which was actually MSSC in those days). Lots of good memories from there, came back with a couple of trophies. I even considered going to school there.

And the big game in those days was foozeball.

4. I started there while it was MSSC.

Then two years later it changed to MSSU.

2. Knew of it ....... seen courses ........ never played

6. We started that about 74 with actual frisbees and basketball hoops.

I've actually played on a real course, one that was frisbee friendly. It wasn't a big fad yet in the mid 80's, but there were official courses. I think it's been butchered in its current form. Now I mostly just play frisbee with the dogs. They love it.

8. My boss won't shut up about it

lol...he went and bought the disc golf starter kit (comes with 3 or 4 different discs) and keeps trying to get me to go play. I told him there was no way I was playing frisbee without smoking a doob and since he supports the random drug testing the company does I can't play.

I don't wanna play frisbee golf - I wanna go REAL golf. I have my eye on a sweet pair of Foot-Joys I saw at the Sports Authority...and real golf I can play with just beer.
