1. Oh, sure, when they're little they're all cute and cuddly and do typical baby feline species stuff.

But they soon grow into apex predators who are remorselessly efficient killers and would have you as a snack just as soon as you forgot that fact and turned your back to them.




Which is why I love the feline species; they remind us that we aren't really 'all that'.

He was at the Cleveland Engine Plant back when they used to have an open house for employees for the new car roll-outs.

I got to pet him when I was a kid.

His name was "Chauncey". He acted just like a bigger version of a house cat...much, much bigger.

His paws were bigger than my head.

10. There's no such thing as too many big cats - although they aren't recommended for crazy cat ladies.
