Two Rob Reiner movies are on tonight: When Harry Met Sally and The American President. I love both of these movies.
It's a little extravagant, but Cable T.V. and some of the streaming channels are one of the few luxuries I allow myself (because watching good shows and movies are one of my joys in life).

OP
I'm in an emotional mood, but both have their funny moments. Thanks for suggestion.

(2,675 posts)1. The American President is a good precursor to West Wing
Written by Sorkin and includes Sheen. Just sayin.

(71,735 posts)3. I'm having to avoid movies the subject of which is "The President of the United States can be a force for good".
In order to prevent collapsing into a trembling ball of whimpering helplessness.
That means no The American President, no Dave, no The West Wing, and so on.
Among my most favorite films and television shows of all times.
