They are laying in the heater vents as I type. When I lived in the mountains I had a wood burning fireplace insert. There was about 6” space between the insert and the back wall of the fireplace and my cat would go back there to sleep. Her fur would be so hot when she came out from back there she could have spontaneously combusted! Cats must have an extremely high tolerance for heat.
