The indomitable positive energy of Physics Girl - her first science video in 3 years of Long Covid

She has 3.5 million subscribers, this video was posted yesterday and already has 855,000 views with 255,000 likes

As a survivor of LC myself (only 1.5 years of misery), I can only admire her courage and positivity in the face of what she's endured. Knowing of her plight from the start of my infection, gave me strength and realization of how much "better" I had it compared to her.

She's always had a beautiful energy in life, a fine soul we could use more of in our World.

Bio:
Dianna Cowern is a science communicator with a degree in physics from MIT, and creator of the YouTube channel Physics Girl, where she explores the beauty and curiosity of physics through experiments, and storytelling. She began the channel as an independent creator, later partnering with PBS Digital Studios for several years before returning to independent production. After three years away from creating videos due to severe Long COVID, Dianna returned in 2026, continuing her mission to share curiosity, resilience, and the wonder of science.

And BTW, the video is pretty darn cool, even if you don't know much about science !

and accessible to laypeople like me. And I was so happy to see her new video post yesterday. Not only brilliant, but she's a very strong person who has been through hell fight long Covid.

Best wishes to her - and to you, too. So sorry that you had to deal with long Covid, I can't even begin to imagine what you went through.

She makes it fun, even though I knew everything she talked about.
Her style makes the topic engaging.
Too bad she's still struggling with her health.
I hope she eventually gets past this.
