Even I had enough sense to get to the supermarket this morning, only to find the parking lot packed and the shelves starting to empty. And if I had a car, I would have left it home -- the weather was good, it's a twenty-minute walk, and I had a shopping cart.

knowing full well going to the store between now and Sunday A.M. is an insane move. Have a week's worth of meals already planned, and nothing is getting us back in the car again for several days.

Not enough parking spaces for the WF and the other retail in the small plaza. Predatory and entitled attitudes abound in the parking lot. There was one time during the summer when I watched a woman almost totally husk an ear of corn from the big pile on the display (personally, it's so cheap then that I buy more than I need if I get a bad one or two). I wanted to ask her if she planned on cooking it there too.
