Arkansas has a nasty habit of spawning December and January tornadoes when it gets over 70.

And we were the only major region with snow on Christmas. I had my windows open and ceiling fans going yesterday.

No snow to speak of this season at all. A couple years ago, there was so much snow in December they canceled school SIX times.

This is too weird. But I could grow to like it...

really set in yet. We haven't had temperatures below freezing for more than two days running! It looks like a change is coming in about 2 weeks. Even at that - our winters have been breaking up in mid February in recent years.

Watch this spot - I'm expecting a major snowfall (not blizzard - snowfall) and/or ice storm this season.

And that is we don't have to listen to nitwits like James Inhofe on the subject. Even he can see there's a problem, although I'm sure he and the rest of the denialists have their argument all cued up that there's nothing going on here that has a human root cause.
