get a can of tomato sauce, mozzerella cheese and whatever you want on the pizza from the deli or produce section.

Then you have GOOD pizza!

For extra fun, stick peeled garlic cloves in a blender with tomato sauce and a touch of wine.

I remember that Trader Joe's had great frozen pizzas, but I'm nowhere near one now and haven't had one in 7 years or so, so maybe they don't make them anymore (I also know that they were produced for another brand as well - Amy's, maybe?).

More widely available, but not everywhere, is Jack's. Their self-rising crust frozen pizzas are really quite good.

However, I'll echo what some others have said; make your own. I was living with my brother for a few months this year, and he has a cast iron pizza pan. Frozen balls of pizza dough were about $1.50 from the grocery store. Take one of those out before work, and it's ready to roll out for dinner. It's way better than any frozen pizza, and about the same price. Sure, it's a bit more work, but not much at all, really, and it cooks faster, so the time isn't really a factor, unless you're also cooking sausage or something to put on top of it.

DiGiorno isn't terrible either.

I hate the frozen pizzas that aren't rising-crusts...they're all like cardboard. Usually though, I'll make my own. Dough is cheap. I can get enough for $1.50 to make two pies. The cheese is expensive...I usually do sauce and tomatoes, no cheese.

Haven't tried Shirk's. Heggies BCB (bacon cheesburger) is fantastic if you can find it. Tons of bacon! Pizza Corner is good as well(vacuum packed in thick plastic for max freshness).

There is not a one worth eating. You can not freeze the ingredients needed to make pizza and expect results worth putting in your mouth.

Or, use it for insulation?

I don't eat frozen pizza. I know this is blasphemy, but Walmart/Sam's Club has a decent 'fresh' (loosely used word). Other than that, I'd just use a piece of toast with some ketchup and toss some dog food on it.
