Ok, I have tremendous cold tolerance when I'm outside bundled up and moving around... But I get home, strip off all the wet stuff and bundle up in dry warm clothing, curl up in bed or under a blanket on the couch and damn, my hands are ICE COLD... that ole vasoconstriction away from extremities at play. So, I need some heated gloves for the first 20 minutes or so when I return home and "recover" but damn--who wants to pay $100 (or more)... So, I ordered these because they were cheap and plug into the USB port!... Of course I had no idea they would be shipped directly from China and figured it would be spring before I got them...
But, lo and behold--in today's mail. AND< they work! Of course the instructions are in CHinese and I rather doubt they are "UL-certified" so I wouldn't dare leave them plugged in even to step away for a moment.
So, I'm up for an argument as to why I should have saved up for classical $100 heated gloves from a domestic company (even if actually manufactured overseas), but for $6, this is my nod to China this year.
