Good morning, kids!

I'm feeling pretty sad this morning. A good friend, my husband's old bass player, is being taken off of life support today after a massive stroke a couple of days ago. I don't handle death well, and I've had to do it way too much the past couple of years. The husband is still sleeping, so I'm here alone with my thoughts. Trying to choke back the emotion so I can get to the store before he wakes up, but not having much luck.

So, I came here to numb my brain a bit. Thanks for the smart thinking stuff, the funny stuff, the random stuff and all the other stuff that has given my brain something else to do this morning besides think about the planet without this guy.

Okay, deep breath and offta the store. I'm sure dealing with the irritating masses of this town will cheer me right up!

I'm a person that lives in a fairly constant state of denial, so death is always difficult for me. He passed away late yesterday afternoon. Such a sweet, loving, compassionate man.
