we generally do it the 1st. but so cold outside cant do the lights. so waiting until weekend for those. that gives me four days to package up the house christmas so i do not have to do it all in one day. or procrastinate another four days and end up doing all in one day, like i generally do.

Still moving in, need the space, and decided to get that stuff out of the way. It was gone the day after Boxing Day.

I took all the family tree stuff to my son, who hosts xmas for the family now.

When I did, I brought it in and decorated it on xmas eve, and took it out and planted it on 12/26.

I should get off my bed and go remove a layer. I have a Fish-mass tree full of fish, fishermen and gear. Why did I put everything on it?

I couldn't wait for Christmas to be over. We still have outdoor wreaths and lights up, but the lights are under about a foot of snow, so they will have to wait for the thaw.

We act fast. Its a tradition. We "un-decorate" it with the kids before breakfast. We always take off from work the 26th for a family day. Starts with the tree removal, then some family activity. Ice skating this year and a visit to cousins in from out of town.
