(70,774 posts)It was more of a horror movie. I sort of caught on early enough that her view of events was off kilter, such that the clues added up without my having to see it again.
My memory is such that it was too long ago (for me) to be thorough about it now. So the TCHAIKOVSKY black/white swans was just a launching pad for all of the observations of the bizarre ballet "discipline" with all its contradictions of beauty and ugly realities.
I hadn't thought of the mother might be dead, but the role of the dominating personalities involved in pushing that kind of career choice is bad enough.

(22,380 posts)but I could not tolerate anything about Black Swan. I'm with you on that it is a creepy film, and I additionally see no redeeming lasting value in it.
